This is our current project its out=r 1929 Model 612 Sedan. It was first aquired from resivour in the mid 1970s as partially disasembled. After we purchased it, it was reasembled in the previous owners driveway as best as we could, and then stored at my grandparents house. At this stage it was still running I cannot confirm we checked that by driving it round the block, but.... |
It was then stored at my grandparents for a decade, upon their passing we needed to disinter her much to the surprise of the neighbours who had no idea the car was in the garage. Her is what she looked like when we got her out of the garage |
Around 2000, and after a particularly cold and wet outing in The Mistress, we decided we needed a car with a roof and wind up windows. So the restoration begun. Here is some pictures of what it had come to by then. |
First step was the chassis. We had a spare one, so we started by gettong that sandpblasted, painted, and rebushed. Repainted the front and read axles added new kingpins, cleaned and re-shakled the springs and the chassis was ready for some mechanicals |

Then onto the mechanicals |
